Faith Bible Church's counseling ministry, Faith Biblical Counseling Center, operates as an outreach service of our church under the authority of the elders. This ministry is designed to help people facing the problems of modern society find their answers to their problems in God's Word, the Bible. In each case we want to help people know the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior and to live their lives to the glory of God. Our counseling services are available to the people of our community on an application basis. We counsel in the areas of marriage, parenting, and personal problems. Our services are provided to couples, men, women, and children. We also have an extensive training program in biblical counseling for those wishing to become more proficient in helping people in their church.
Faith Biblical Counseling is under the direction of David L. Birch. Mr. Birch has been a pastor and church leader for forty years. He is a graduate of Grand Rapids Baptist Seminary in Michigan and is a certified counselor with the National Association of Nouthetic Counselors (NANC). Our staff includes internationally known author, Martha Peace, who specializes in women's issues. Martha is a Registered Nurse and she is also certified with NANC. Both Mr. Birch and Mrs. Peace have taught others principles of biblical counseling in the US and in several other countries. Our center also maintains a growing Resource Room to provide people with helpful information for problem solving and progressive growth in the Christian life.
